We have been to a variety of places including Caldbeck, photographing various small falls of the Howk; Hackthorpe and Edenhall looking for the smaller things in life such as butterflies, bees and flowers, and Wetheral, walking along the River Eden past The Flight of Fantasy stone seat and Corby Castle. Then on to the Monks’ caves (St Constantine’s) leading to the Priory Gatehouse. An amazing area with so much to photograph in a short easy walk. We have also visited Low Force, the Ponies on Askham Fell plus Clifton Hall and Appleby.
A great variety of subjects and techniques for different locations are on our doorstep. With photography and post production you will never stop learning as equipment and software are constantly updated. The Lake District (Cumbria) is a never ending source of fascination. I think we are all privileged to live in the area.
